The Secret History of Flying Buffalo
|
Flying Buffalo, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Rick Loomis and Steve MacGregor. We specialize in multiplayer Play-By-Mail strategy games; that is, we act as the referee for multi-player, hidden-movement games that are played by the players sending their moves to Flying Buffalo every two weeks by postal mail, email, fax, or even carrier pigeon!
Our most popular "PBM" game is the award-winning Starweb. In StarWeb, you play the ruler of an interstellar empire, and must cooperate with (and compete against) up to 15 other players in your quest for power and glory.
Unlike all other types of gaming, players have two weeks (or more) to plan their next moves, which provides ample time for strategic and tactical planning, as well as lots of diplomacy with the other players.
We're so sure you'll enjoy PBM that your first game of Starweb or Battle Plan is free!
In addition to our PBM games, we also have produce a variety of role-playing game books, card games, and other interesting game products, including the infamous "Death Dice".
